While the trailer of Ryan Reynold’s Free Guy was funny, the promotion featuring the dude version of Ryan Reynolds was even more funnier, which led to a decent opening at the domestic box office. The other release, Don’t Breathe 2, was able to get a good traction as well.

Based on the game based theme, Free Guy opened to a solid reviews from both audience and critics eventually ringing bells at the US Box Office where it has collected $108.6 million. The Ryan Reynolds starrer also did well at the Overseas market where it collected $189.7 million, bringing the overall total to a staggering $298.3 million. The budget of The Suicide Squad is estimated to be at $100 million.
Now, Free Guy was released last Friday and as per trade report, minted around Rs 1.62 crore from 120 shows in National Capital Region NCR.
The other release was much anticipated sequel to 2016’s smash hit, Don’t Breathe, which collected $89.2 million and 157.8 million globally. The sequel did not receive good reviews as compared to the first part but managed to collect $31.33 million and $14.6 million in overseas, bringing a solid total of $45.93 million, considering the budget of around $15 million.
The thriller opened simultaneously along with Free Guy on Friday and managed to pull Rs 1.29 crore from 90 shows in National Capital Region NCR.
