Aananda Kannan began his career with Singapore Vasantham TV as an actor and TV host. After moving to Chennai, he started working in Sun Music as video jockey and eventually became one of the popular VJ of his time. Ananda also landed a role in the Tamil science fantasy film Adhisaya Ulagam and acted as a lead star in the films like Mullum Malarum and Ithanai Naalai Engirunthai. Ananda featured in several ads including Naturals spa & Sallon and was currently hosting Savaal Singapore show in Mediacorp vasantham in Singapore which is a Tamil version of we are Singaporeans.
