While the trailer of Ryan Reynold's Free Guy was funny, the promotion featuring the dude version of Ryan Reynolds was even more funnier, which led to a surprise opening at the US domestic box office. The other release, Don't Breathe 2, was able to get a good traction as well.

Based on the game based theme, Free Guy opened to a solid reviews from both audience and critics eventually ringing bells at the box office, collecting a solid $26.5 million. The budget of The Free Guy is estimated to be at $100 million. The other release was the much anticipated sequel to 2016's smash hit, Don't Breathe, which collected $89.2 million and 157.8 million globally. The sequel did not receive good reviews as compared to the first part but managed to get a good opening of $10.6 million, considering the budget of around $15 million.
