Mukesh Chhabra Praises Shah Rukh Khan-Rajkumar Hirani Combo & How ‘Dunki’ Will Create A Decade-long Impact!

The filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani’s cinematic entertaining visionary is widely known through his legacy set films like Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Munna Bhai MBBS, 3 Idiots, PK, and Sanju. And, one needs no introduction, the King Shah Rukh Khan! The cinematic expert and ultimate superstar joining hands for the film ‘Dunki’ is in in-self beyond imagination. The audience is also highly awaiting to witness the combo’s dynamic appearance and meanwhile, as the movie is all set to hit screens at the end of the month Casting Director Mukesh Chhabra went on to share his excitement and how it will leave a massive impact.

Speaking to Humans of Bombay about Dunki, Mukesh Chhabra said, “Raju sir ke saath yeh meri third film hai, PK kiya tha phir Sanju kiya tha. Aur bohot saare ads kiye hain. Ek toh itne bade director Raju Hirani aur phir Shah Rukh sir, voh bhi Jawaan ke baad aa rahe hain ek toh.”

Casting Chhabra: “It will be talked about for the next 10 years!”

And added, “Voh aisi film hai ki voh kahaani aapke sabke gharo main dil main aise bas jayegi that you will only talk about that film for the next 10 years. It’s such a beautiful story and the best combination with Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani. Usse bada combination mujhe lagta nahi kisi industry main hoga. Film industry main toh bilkul nahi. Dono apne game main top pe hain. Dono ek saath aa rahe hain toh kamaal ki baat hai.”

Further talking about how one needs no film school if they work under Raju sir, Mukesh continued, “Raju sir ke saath kaam karna ek poora film school hai. Ek institute hain voh. Aapko itna seekhne ko milta hai unse ki aapko kisi film school main jaane ki zaroorat hai. Voh apne aap main poore school hain.”

Earlier, there were reports about ‘Dunki’ getting shifted from December 2023 to next year’s release but now it has been clarified that the movie is definitely hitting screens on the same date as its previous, 22 December 2023. The movie also stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead. 

Starting in 2023 with 'Pathaan' breaking records for the highest-grosser Indian film to 'Jawan' surpassing the game in September and now 'Dunki' setting the bar higher to break everything out there, definitely the year has been larger than ever one has witnessed in the history of Indian cinema and because of whom we are driving through such unbelievably spectacular journey is none other than SHAH RUKH KHAN!
