Ayushmann Khurrana is back with yet another unconventional film, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui which has been able to achieved good reviews which in turn is keeping the movie afloat in these challenging times. From the director of Kai Po Che and Rock One, Abhishek Kapoor brought the fresh pair of Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor in a love story, dance, drama and a twist. Thanks to the interesting trailer, solid lead actor, talented director and entertainment factor, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui opened on a decent note to Rs 3.75 crore. There was a slight growth on Saturday with Rs 4.87 crore while Sunday was good with Rs 5.91 crore.

As per early estimates, the romantic drama held well on its first Tuesday and collected somewhere between Rs 1.90-1.95 crore, bringing the 5 days total to Rs 18.50-18.70 crore and should work on the weekdays to put up a good 1st week collection as the word-of-mouth reviews is pretty good.
