Bengaluru breaks 133-year-old Record of Highest Rainfall In June

Breaking the record of highest rainfall of june in 133 years, the Karnataka capital,Bengaluru recorded 111.1 mm rainfall on June 2. the last rainfall was with high record was seen on 16th June,1891.

 According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), June 2 witnessed the highest single-day rainfall in June in 133 years. They also confirmed the rainfall received on June 1 and June 2 alone - 140.7 mm - already crossed the monthly average for June.
