The CCTV footage shows that the event occurred around 11:20 p.m. on August 18, when Ola cab driver Kayamuddin Ansari was on his way to Ulwe in Navi Mumbai. According to reports, Ansari's cab was rear-ended by an Audi driven by Rishabh Chakravarti, 35, and carrying his wife Antara Ghosh, 27. Following the collision, Ansari exited his vehicle to assess the damage, only to be accosted by Chakravarti and Ghosh.

When Ghosh allegedly took the Ola cab's device out of Ansari's car, things immediately became worse. Ansari then chased after the Audi when a fight broke out. This resulted in another collision between the two cars at the Ghatkopar building's entrance, which is across from a shopping centre.

The resulting violence was recorded by witnesses and CCTV footage. Chakravarti is charged with slapping Ansari, picking him up, and then slamming him to the ground. After suffering brain injuries, Ansari was first brought to Ghatkopar's Rajawadi Hospital and then moved to JJ Hospital. His statement has been documented for use in the inquiry.

A case has been filed against Chakravarti and Ghosh in response to Ansari's accusation. Notices to appear in court have been sent to both people. The claims and arguments from each party in this violent dispute are presently being looked into by the authorities.
