Recently, television actress Rupali Ganguly was seen taking a scooter ride after from an event in Mumbai. However, this has created a debate on the internet as she was seen riding the scooter without a helmet.
Rupali Ganguly was on her way back home after the Star Parivaar Awards 2024 when she decided to save time and ride the scooter with her manager on the way back home. A video of her leaving the event went viral on social media. In the video, Rupali is leaving the venue in a hurry without even posing for the paparazzi and she sits on the scooter with her manager in leaves. But her and her manager not wearing a helmet has sparked a controversy on the internet.

The actress was criticised by netizens on the internet for riding on the scooter without a helmet, despite being a member of a political party and violating traffic laws. Many users even demanded that Mumbai police to take action against her for breaking traffic rules.
Many users commented on the viral video, one said, “Helmet ka challan bas gareeb non famous ke liye hi hai kya?” Another said, “What's the location? Mumbai Police ko bhejna hai?” One user even wrote, “Sahi he celebrity Bina helmet gaadi chala sakte he...wo b police k samne se gaye, yahi per normal insaan karta tho usko duniya ka fine maar dete”. Another user commented, “Without helmet that too! I thought Anupamaa was perfect and all of them want to be like her…bad role model”.
Rupali Ganguly is well known for her roles in the shows Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai and Anupamaa. At the Star Parivar Awards 2024, she won two awards - the Best Patni and Best Bahu awards for her show Anupamaa.
