UP Warriorz, Which is Led by Deepti Sharma, Meet Fans in Lucknow

The UP Warriorz are hoping for powerful local support at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium as they are preparing for their first home match in Lucknow. With 2 wins from five matches in the ongoing Women’s Premier League (WPL), the team is aiming to reverse their fortunes with three upcoming matches in the city. They will face the Gujarat Giants on March 3, & the Mumbai Indians & Royal Challengers Bengaluru on March 6 and 8.

Amidst dhol beats and fireworks, the team received an enthusiastic reception at the KD Singh Babu Stadium, where captain Deepti Sharma was leading the squad in, joined by coach Jon Lewis and team owner Jinisha Sharma. The UP Warriorz Army, made up of young athletes and cricket enthusiasts, cheered passionately. Dressed in the team’s yellow jerseys, they waved flags & chanted for the players

“Our ‘Phool aur Chingari’ collection is a compelling collaboration with artisan groups from Uttar Pradesh, seamlessly blending heritage, craftsmanship, and contemporary fashion. The merchandise has been made by chikankari, aari, and zardozi artisans of Lucknow, brass artisans of Sambhal, and beaded accessory making artisans of Noida,” elaborated a team member.
