Onam is an annual Indian harvest festival celebrated predominantly by the Hindus of Kerala state, which is celebrated in remembrance of the good governance under the rule of daitya king Mahabali, a mythical king. The legend holds that jealous of Mahabali’s popularity and his power, the devas conspired to end his reign.
It is like a major official festival for Keralites that includes a spectrum of cultural events, a meal full of traditional dishes, making their famous flower rangolis called pookalam and much more. And here we take you into the world of Malayalam superstars’ Onam celebrations.

The Malayalam industry’s renowned superstar Mammootty wishes fans ‘Happy Onam’ donned up in an authentic traditional attire of Kerala, kurta and mundu (lungi) in off-white and golden colour.
