Rajamouli live up to the expectations as he not just exactly created what audience and Baahubali fans expected but also posted the biggest hit in the Indian cinema. Sharad Devarajan being the creator of the prequel, 'Baahubali: Crown of Blood' alongside S.S. Rajamouli on Disney + Hotstar will be a 2D animated version. After the success of 'Legend of Hanuman', Sharad Devarajan & Disney + Hotstar are coming up with this high scale project in animation. The story doesn't continue where it left off in the last film but goes back in past where the two brothers Baahubali and Bhallaladeva teamed up to fight the terror surrounding Mahishmati, Raktadeva.

To be honest, Crown of Blood is visually poor and doesn't fulfil the expectations. Audiences nowadays have a lot of options especially in good quality of animation be it 2D or 3D but  Baahubali known for its bigger scale doesn't live upto it. It looks kind off amature and similar to kids cartoons, not sure if there's issue in the actual animation or the set ups they made in it.

Plot wise it looks promising and can actually deliver another compelling story in the upcoming seasons. The introduction of the new characters, keeping up with the energy of the old characters has done wisely. The iconic elements from the movies help us connect with the new story quickly. Even the old voices are continuing being the voices of the characters in the series for the Hindi dubbing which is another strong connecting dots for the viewers.
