Renowned filmmaker, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is making his OTT debut on Netflix with his highly anticipated mega project Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, which premiered today, May 1.The series explores pre-independence period in India involving themes like love, freedom & revenge.
Heeramandi also offers a stunning cast, the lead actors are Manisha Koirala (as Mallika Jaan), Sonakshi Sinha (Faradeen/Rehana), Richa Chadha (Lajjo), Sanjeeda Shaikh (Waheeda), Aditi Rao Hydari (Bibbo) and Sharmin Segal Mehta (Alamzeb). The series marks the return of Fardeen Khan (as Wali Mohammed), complemented by performances from Jason Shah (Cartwright) and Taha Shah (Tajdar).
