The shooting for the series which will stream on Amazon prime video was put on a halt die to second wave of the covid-19 .

Actor Aditi Rao Hydari and Wamiqa Gabbi will be soon returning to complete the shooting of filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane's upcoming series 'Stardust' , which will air on Amazon prime video. The shooting was put on halt because of the second and a deadlier wave of coronavirus in the country earlier this year.

The makers of stardust had shot for two days , but had to stop or delayed the shoot to take necessary precautions against the second wave of covid-19. It was during that time when all shoots had to be halted across the state .

However, with state government slowly lifted the lockdown imposed by them due the pandemic, the shooting of the Motwane's Magnum Opus , according to the source, will be begin soon in Mumbai.

The show is inspired by true incidents from rivalry to the working culture of the film industry. But it will be a fictional take on bollywood from the 40s er to the next 40 years. Currently, it is being planned as eight to nine episodes for season one. The show will be feature Aditi Rao Hydari and Prosenjit Chatterjee. There will be other notable actors too.
