Babil Khan, son of late actor Irfan Khan, began his career with the Netflix show Qala. He instantly became popular on social media due to his humble and sweet behaviour. Recently, it was revealed that Bollywood power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone  are expecting their first child. Immediately after this news broke out, people made speculations that they are expecting their child through surrogacy, even though it should not concern anyone else but the couple. When the pair were seen at the polling booth for casting their votes, Deepika was seen with a baby bump. But even this did not satisfy the netizens, many of them commenting on social media that the bump is fake, even though this is not anyone else’s business.

Indian Premier League (IPL) created a big controversy when Mumbai Indians replaced Rohit Sharma with Hardik Pandya as a captain, because of the conditions placed by Hardik. It might have been wrong on Hardik’s part, but he did not deserve to be brutally trolled and receive death threats. Some even went on to abuse and send death threats to his wife and child, who do not deserve to be treated that way.

Another instance is of Ananya Pandey being trolled for being a star kid. Admitted, she lived a privileged life and never had to struggle, and even got a push in her career, but the amount of hate she received for being a star kid is unbearable. She even received plenty of backlash for dating Aditya Roy Kapoor, just because some fans could not handle it.

These are just some instances where famous celebrities have faced backlash, but these are not the only times, people, especially famous personalities are trolled and hated for smallest of reasons, mostly on social media because it is easier that way. So, we really need to think where we are going wrong and Whats Wrong With The Internet?!
