Two NASA astronauts, Sunita Williams and Barry Wilmore, have been on the International Space Station (ISS) for over 50 days due to serious issues with their Boeing Starliner capsule. The capsule suffered a helium leak and multiple thruster failures during the flight. NASA and Boeing have not yet set a return date for the astronauts, though they insist the capsule is safe enough for the journey back if necessary. These problems have extended Williams and Wilmore's stay on the ISS, as additional leaks and malfunctions had to be addressed remotely.

They have also been experiencing decrease in bone density and muscle mass which is similar to osteoporosis. As per reports, exercise on ISS can help but still some some bone loss still can be observed.
