On Saturday, the death of Horror film legend Tony Todd shocked Hollywood and the fanbase. The Actor passed away at 69 in his house in Los Angeles. He is known for his role in several blockbuster horror films like Candyman and Final Destination.
The Candyman killer died battling a long-time illness, and the reason for his death is still unknown. New Line Production House, which produced Final Destination, which Tony was a part of, expressed their grief on social media. “The industry has lost a legend. We have lost a cherished friend. Rest in peace, Tony — Your Final Destination Family,” they said. Even his fans flooded the internet with posts and tweets, expressing their grief and condolences.

Tony had a marvellous 40-year-long career filmed with blockbuster films and television shows. He starred in one of the most phenomenal series, Final Destination, but his most notable work was as the lead in the franchise Candyman, where he was the main killer. Tony also starred in Horror films like Stream, The Crow, Hellfest, and Transformer and even voiced Venom in Sony’s Spider-Man. He also worked in television shows like Scream, Star Trek, X-Files and many more.
He was a horror film legend and his film Platoon even won an Oscar. His role in Candyman got him awarded with a Lifetime Achievement Award At the New York Horror Film Festival.
