Following the huge success of Season 4, the Netflix series will return to Hawkins for its fifth and final season. The last two episodes of the previous season were like feature-length movies, and reports suggest the final season will feature many longer episodes. Stars from the show have been sharing set photos, fueling curiosity among fans about the finale. However, a recent photo from co-creator Ross Duffer confirms that fans will have to wait a bit longer for Season 5 to premiere.

On Instagram, Duffer posted a photo with the entire cast and crew of the popular Netflix series. The picture included all the actors and the hardworking crew behind the scenes. His caption read, "Week 24. Happy halfway with the best cast and crew ever." While the post quickly went viral, the caption left fans feeling disappointed. Season 5's filming has reached its halfway point, indicating there's still a lot more work ahead.
