Bihar YouTuber Slaps Train Passenger, Got Arrested After Backlash from Public

A man who slapped a random passenger aboard a train at Bihar's Anugraha Narayan Road railway station & filmed the whole incident for online popularity has now faced consequences.

The person, named Ritesh Kumar, waited on the railway platform for the train to depart before approaching it and slapping an unsuspecting passenger. During this particular incident, his friend filmed the act to upload it on social media.

As the video went viral on social media, users responded negatively, urging authorities to take action against Kumar. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) acted rapidly and also arrested Kumar, who was instructed to issue an apology.

"No compromise on passenger security!! A YouTuber who slapped a passenger on a moving train for social media fame has been tracked & arrested by RPF Dehri-on-Sone!" RPF posted on twitter.

"Your safety matters to us-reckless acts will not be tolerated."

Kumar, in his apology video, accepted his wrongdoings, saying that he staged the video to increase his followers.

"I am a YouTuber. I make and post videos on Instagram to increase my followers. I came to Anugraha Narayan Road railway station and, to boost my follower count, slapped a passenger on a moving train," stated Kumar.

"This was my mistake, and I won't repeat it. Please forgive me," he added further.
