National: UPI Payments are down today. Users reported issues with Google Pay, Paytm, and other platforms, marking the third outage in recent days.
UPI (Unified Payments Interface) services in India were severely disrupted this Saturday morning, leaving users with difficulties while making a payment for the third time within a month. This problem has hit individuals and businesses across the country, disrupting an important daily service for smooth money transfers.
According to the DownDetector reports, this issue is extensive, with around 1,168 complaints logged by the afternoon. Google Pay users complained of 96 issues, while Paytm users complained of 23. The reason behind the disruption is still unknown.
Meanwhile, NPCI has issued an official statement about users facing transaction issues: "NPCI is currently facing intermittent technical issues, leading to partial UPI transaction declines. We are working to resolve the issue and will keep you updated. We regret the inconvenience caused."
