Prime Minister Narendra Modi's annual interactive event, Pariksha Pe Charcha, will adopt a new and vibrant format this year. Focused on tackling exam stress, the session will see PM Modi joined by prominent figures from various fields, who will offer their valuable perspectives and success strategies.
While PM Modi has typically been the only speaker, providing advice and encouragement to students, the 2024 edition will feature insights from celebrities and experts across different fields. According to media reports, the lineup includes...
Deepika Padukone, acclaimed actress and mental health advocate, will address the importance of mental well-being during exams.
Sadhguru, a spiritual leader, who will offer insights on harnessing intelligence and inner strength.
Mary Kom and Avani Lekhara, celebrated sportspersons, who will inspire students with their stories of perseverance and excellence in sports.
The annual interactive event for students with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, organized by the Department of School Education and Literacy, will take place at Bharat Mandapam in the national capital in a town hall-style format.
Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC), an initiative by PM Modi aimed at turning exam-related stress into a celebration of learning, has experienced unprecedented growth in its 8th edition. Since its launch in 2018, PPC has grown into a nationwide movement, attracting an impressive 3.56 crore registrations for its 2025 edition. This represents a significant rise from the 7th edition, which had 2.26 crore registrations—an increase of 1.3 crore participants including 12.81 lakh teachers, and 2.94 lakh schools. These activities included indigenous games, marathons, meme competitions, Nukkad Natak performances, poster-making, student discussions, yoga, meditation, and workshops.
The Department of School Education and Literacy, under the Ministry of Education, has been organizing a program encouraging students, teachers, and parents to share strategies for managing stress during board exams. The first three editions of PPC took place in New Delhi in a town-hall interactive format. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the fourth edition was conducted virtually and broadcast on Doordarshan and major television channels. The fifth, sixth, and seventh editions returned to the town-hall format and were hosted at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi. (ANI)
