2024 MAMA Awards to be Held in U.S & Japan: Read More

On July 18, MNET officially announced that the popular MAMA Awards 2024 will be held across 3 days in United States and Japan. The awards will take place from 21 November to 23 November.

 This is the first time ever that MAMA Awards are talking place in the U.S. The first night of the 2024 MAMA Awards will take place on November 21, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, the venue that hosts the Academy Awards every year. Following this, the other two nights will be held in Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan.

“The 2024 edition of the MAMA AWARDS will have a wide array of K-pop performances with visuals and sounds that will make you feel as if you’re in another reality beyond space and time,” said Harry H.K. Shin, head of music entertainment at CJ ENM.

The MAMA Awards formerly known as the MNET Asian Music Awards first started in the year 1999. The awards has been taking place all across Asia, including Singapore, Macao, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Japan, with various themes every time. This year, the concept is ‘Big Blur = WHAT IS REAL?’.
