A long time ago, Swami Vivekananda was on a quest for enlightenment, traveling across India in search of inner peace. Despite his efforts, he couldn't find the tranquility he sought. Then, on December 24, 1892, he arrived in Kanyakumari and meditated for three days on a large, anonymous rock. It was here that he made a profound decision to dedicate his life to serving humanity, an event known as the "Kanyakumari Resolve of 1892."

Interestingly, it is also reported that Vivekananda engaged in extended meditation on the day of his death, July 4, 1902.

1             Posture and Positive Thoughts:

  • Keep your spine straight.

  • Send positive thoughts to all beings. Mentally repeat: “All beings should be happy; all beings should be peaceful; all beings should be blissful.”

  • Do this in all directions—west, east, north, and south. This practice will uplift your mood. You'll find that wishing health and happiness for others also benefits your own well-being.

  1. Prayer for Believers:

    • Pray not for material things like money, health, or heaven. Instead, pray for knowledge, light, and understanding. Any other prayer is self-centered.

  2. Strength and Faith:

    • Visualize your body as a strong, healthy, and stable tool. It is as strong as a diamond and capable of overcoming life's challenges.

    • Believe in your strength and tell your mind that your body is strong. Have unshakable faith in yourself.

  3. Focus and Concentration:

    • Lie down straight and focus on the tip of your nose. This will help you learn to concentrate.

    • Controlling your optic nerves can help control your brain's reactions and strengthen your willpower.

By following these simple steps, you can enhance your mental and spiritual well-being, helping you feel more connected, strong, and at peace.
