"Do it for real later hehe": Intimate Text Between Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae ron from 2016 Leaked

In a startling development, intimate text messages exchanged between actor Kim Soo-hyun and the late Kim Sae-ron have been revealed, suggesting a romantic relationship when Sae-ron was still a minor.

During a press conference on March 27, 2025, Bu Ji Seok, the legal representative of Kim Sae-ron’s family, presented text messages exchanged in June 2016 between the actors. The messages included playful banter and affectionate emojis, indicating a close relationship between the two.

Kim Sae-ron: “I’m going back to filming. I’ll be back soon.”

Kim Soo-hyun: “Come back soon, hehe. [heart emoticon].”

Kim Sae-ron: “[heart emoticon] kissing sound”

Kim Soo-hyun: “Do it for real later hehe. Ah, is this not allowed too?”

Kim Sae-ron: “Nah, it isn’t. I’ll do it.”

Kim Sae-ron: “Do you miss me or not?”

Kim Soo-hyun: “You? What do you think – do I miss you or not?”

Kim Sae-ron: “How would I know! If you don’t tell me, I don’t know.”

Kim Soo-hyun: “Cute of you to ask that.”

Kim Sae-ron: “So do you miss me or not?”

According to Bu Ji Seok, these messages indicate that Kim Soo-hyun was pursuing physical intimacy with Sae-ron, who was underage at the time, thereby raising significant legal and ethical issues.

Previously, Kim Soo-hyun denied any romantic involvement with Kim Sae-ron while she was a minor. However, his agency later confirmed that they had dated only after she reached the legal age of consent.
