Kim So Hyun has been acting since she was in middle school, starring in k-dramas like Moon Embracing the Sun and Missing You. She went on to star in popular dramas like Who Are You: School 2015 and Hey Ghost, Let’s Fight.

When she asked Kim So Hyun about celebrities typically having zero followers on Instagram, and whether she follows anyone herself, when this was being filmed, Kim So Hyun was following 6445 accounts. She answered, "I think I started using social media when I was in middle school. I didn't have many fans back then. I was very grateful for those who followed me because they liked me. Out of gratitude, I followed everyone back."

She further added, "I followed people back even right before going to bed. I don't usually unfollow anyone, but a lot of people unfollow me. She also said, "I've received DMs saying, 'Unnie, I'm really a fan, but I had to unfollow you because I went private.' If you look closely, my following count decreases. I don't unfollow anyone.”

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, Serendipity’s Embrace portrays the journey of young individuals discovering true love and pursuing their dreams after unexpectedly encountering their first love a decade ago.
