Tom Holland Shares His Views On The Script Of The Upcoming Spiderman 4

British Actor Tom Holland, in an interview, revealed that he had gone through the script for Marvel's Spiderman 4 along with co-star and girlfriend Zendeya, but he believes the script can be better.

The Uncharted star expressed his excitement about working on the fourth instalment of Marvel’s Spiderman franchise. Holland referred to the scripting process for Marvel as a machine made of small cogs, one of which is this franchise. He explained that the Marvel Cinematic Universe follows a timeline, and the script needs to fit into this timeline and add value to it. He mentioned that the film’s team has almost made an excellent pitch and draft.

While talking about the script, he said, “It needs work, but the writers are doing a great job,” he continued. “I read it three weeks ago, and it really lit a fire in me. Zendaya and I sat down and read it together, and we, at times, were bouncing around the living room like, ‘This is a real movie worthy of the fans’ respect.’ But there’s a few things we need to figure out before we can get that really going, but it’s exciting.”

Tom Holland plays Spiderman, aka Peter Parker, with co-star Zendeya, who plays MJ. He has completed three stand-alone films as Spiderman and appeared in multiple Marvel franchises. There is no confirmed release date for the film, but fans might have to wait until 2026.
