Selena Gomez's Oscar Gown Was Made of 16,000 Drops of Glass: Know More

The 97^th Academy Awards/Oscars was a star studded event and saw Hollywood celebrities in their best fashion choices. Among these celebrities was Selena Gomez, who has always made headlines with her red carpet looks.

For the occasion, Gomez donned a custom Ralph Lauren gown inspired by Sophia Loren. The gown was a blush pink off-the-shoulder dress, ornated with over 16,000 glass droplets and Rosemont crystals. The crystals were affixed by 12 skilled artisans. The outfit was completed by airbrushing the glass drops to create a pink ombré finish.

The gown also features plunging neckline, a figure-hugging silhouette that hugged her curves almost like a second skin, a drop floor lenght skirt, and a train on the back, creating a waterfall effect. The entire ensemble was made more dazzling with Bvlgari accessories that included a a platinum collar necklace with a 10-carat pear-cut diamond drop pendant, paired with diamond earrings and a handful of rings.

Selena capped off with a dewy makeup look, with soft, blowout waves and loose hair parted on the side. Coral-pink lips, winged eyeliner, mascara-adorned lashes, pink eye shadow, sparkly lower waterline liner, flushed cheeks, luminous highlighter, and feathery brows were all part of her glam look.

Selena Gomez acted in the movie ‘Emilia Perez’, whose track Mi Camino from the film is nominated in the Best Original Song category. She attended the ceremony with her fiancé Benny Blanco
