A Sequel to ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ In Works: Know More

A highly anticipated sequel to the popular Hollywood film ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ starring Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt is currently in works at Disney, as reports suggest.

According to the rumours, the storyline of the sequel will focus on Priestly’s career as she navigates the challenges of the declining magazine industry. The film might also show Emily Blunt’s character, Emily Charlton playing a significant role, now as a powerful executive for a luxury group whose advertising dollars are crucial for Priestly’s magazine.

The original film's screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna is rumoured to be the writer for the sequel as well. It still hasn’t been confirmed who from the original cast will be returning for the sequel. This recent announcement has left the fans feeling very excited for the sequel.

The Devil Wears Prada was released in 2006, and the film was instant success, collecting 326.7 million dollars worldwide. The film was based on Lauren Weisberger’s 2003 novel of the same name. The film has since become a cult classic and is known for its iconic outfits.
