In a shocking turn of events, the entertainment industry mourns the untimely demise of actor-model Poonam Pandey at the age of 32. The news was confirmed by her manager, Parul Chawla after an official post on Poonam Pandey's Instagram account announced her passing on Thursday night. The cause of death was revealed to be cervical cancer.
The Instagram post, shared with folded hands and heart emoji, expressed the deep sorrow of losing Poonam Pandey to cervical cancer. It read, “This morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request for privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared.”

Poonam Pandey's team also confirmed the tragic news in an interview with News18, stating, “She passed away last night.”

The actor and model gained visibility through various projects, including her appearance on the reality show Lock Upp Season 1 in 2022, hosted by Kangana Ranaut.
Poonam Pandey's last Instagram post shared just three days ago, featured a video of herself at a party in Goa, indicating that she was actively engaged in social activities shortly before her demise.
The sudden announcement prompted various reactions from fans, with some expressing disbelief and scepticism. One fan wrote, “Lost? Hope this is not fake or a fun post,” while another questioned, “What is it for real? Or some kind of promotion for an upcoming project?”
