Gurcharan Singh, who played the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi in the popular TV sitcom, 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah', has been missing since April 22. The Delhi Police has filed a kidnapping case in this regard. Gurcharan Singh's father, Hargit Singh, lodged a missing complaint at the Palam police station in Delhi on Friday. The police registered an FIR under Section 365 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
The 50-year-old TV actor was to leave for Mumbai from Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport at 8:30 am on April 22. However, he did not take the flight to Mumbai, police said in its initial investigation. His number was active till April 24, through which many transactions were done.
Gurucharan Singh's elderly father has lodged a missing complaint in Delhi, which says, 'My son Gurucharan Singh, age: 50 years, to go to Mumbai on 22nd April at 8:30 am. Had come out. He went to the airport to catch the flight. He neither reached Mumbai nor returned home and his phone is not available. He is mentally stable and we were searching for him but now he is missing!'
