Mukesh Khanna is back in the news, making headlines, not just for his return as Shaktimaan but for also being arrogant and rude. In an interview, Mukesh threw shade at Akshay Kumar for his portrayal of Prithviraj Chawan.
In his recent appearance, Mukesh hinted at the return of India’s first Superhero, Shaktimaan, a hero from the 1990s who saved children. While talking to the journalists, he expressed displeasure towards Akshay Kumar and his portrayal of Prithviraj Chavan. "Prithviraj Chauhaan kyun nahi lage Akshay Kumar? Sirf muchein aur wig lagaake thodi na ban sakte hai? Ek gait chahiye," he said. When asked who should take on his legacy character of Shaktimaan, he responded arrogantly with, "Chaliye aapko banaa deta hu."

In response to someone else adapting to his character, he said, "This is a costume within me…I think personally, too, in my mind, this costume has come from within me…I did well in Shaktimaan because it came from within me…Acting is all about confidence. I forget about the camera when I am shooting…I am even happier than the others about becoming Shaktimaan again."
Mukesh Khanna is known to be very possessive of his character, and he denied Ranveer Singh from Portraying the character of Shaktimaan just because of his lifestyle and shoots.
