How this project 'Woh Kaun Thi?' turned out for you?

I was discussing with Tam Pratilipi for over 7-8 years to do something but there was no kick or no better opportunity and now when Audio shows are flowing in full swing we decided to collaborate. The thing is I always want to explore different things as an actor. I always tend to overcome whatever challenges it may come weather it a unique character or different medium.

How difficult or easy it was to play a cop just with your voice?

Honestly, it was very difficult for the fact that I didn't know how to do it like in acting you get to know what you are character is you have visual experience of it but when you are in audio medium you have to visualize it on your own and covey the same to the listeners. It was challenging as I did it for the first time but I'm sure when I'll do my next audio show I'll be having hands on it.

What preparations you did for this character?

I actually lived in a small village and went to the police station over there for 6 months, I shared words with cops over there & ghosts around Jungals (laughing); So sorry I'm just kidding, I didn't do any of it. I just thought actors nowadays say such thinsg when asked about preparations so let's play around a little bit. Jokes a part I didn't do anything extraordinary, I just followed my usual routine, reading my dialouges loudly in front of mirror, getting into the character and all.

What genre you want to explore in near future?

In general I really want to explore comedy as a genre be it video or audio. I personally think I'm good at this genre but didn't get any oppotunities in it, After Swabhiman my first project I did Baat Ban Jaaye, there were only 3 main characters in it and I think I did really well, but later on that Angry Young Man stamp stitched to me and I still get similar roles to that.

What do you think is the future of the Audio medium?

India's market is too big for entertainment and our oldest form of entertainment was Nani dadi ki kahaniya and kids specially used to get excited to listen to those stories and the excitement used to be different for different stories if it's a story of king and queen kids use to get curious if its a quite story kids use to fall asleep. So I think audio medium is definitely here to stay and its going to grow tremendously in fact I feel that we have not even touched a tip there's so much more to explore
