New Season Of CID to Make Comeback In December, With The Original Trio

CID fans got some good news today from Sony Entertainment Network, as they are working on bringing the beloved show back on air. According to reports, the show goes into production in November 2024.

Sony Entertainment Network is gearing up to relaunch one of the longest-running shows on their network, CID. The new season will keep the new audience in mind and feature recent technology to deal with cases that plague today’s society. The beloved show is returning on public demand, and the creators are ensuring to provide the best to the audience. They have chalked down multiple scripts and brought back the old cast. The cast is thrilled about the script and excited to be back on set.

Shivaji Satam, Aditya Shrivastava and Dayanand Shetty are all excited to reprise their iconic roles of ACP Pradyuman, Inspectors Daya, and Abhijit. New additions will be made to the cast, which will be revealed soon. The shooting will take place in Mumbai from mid-November and reportedly will go on air in December around the time of Christmas or New Year.

CID was an investigative drama on-air for 20 years with 1,547 episodes.
