Naga Chaitanya Opens Up On His Second Marriage With Sobhita Dhulipala; Says Marriage Is About The People Who Mean A Lot To Me

Naga Chaitanya made waves on social media this Tuesday when a video of him dressed as a groom went viral. Fans, who recently saw him get engaged to Sobhita Dhulipala, were briefly led to believe he might be getting married already. However, the excitement was actually about Chaitanya launching a new wedding collection for a clothing brand. At the event, Chaitanya joked that it might seem like a countdown to his wedding but kept quiet about the actual date and location.

When asked if his groom's outfit was a rehearsal for his upcoming wedding, Naga Chaitanya playfully suggested it might be. He was also asked about his preference for the size of the wedding.On this, he said, " “Marriage is about the people who mean a lot to me. It doesn’t have to be a big fat wedding but people keeping up with the cultures and traditions in mind, so that’s how I want it (marriage) to be.”

Regarding the wedding date and location, Chaitanya mentioned that details are still up in the air. He and Sobhita Dhulipala got engaged on August 8 in a private ceremony at his home. To announce their relationship, they shared a poetic message that read:“What could my mother be to yours? What kin is my father to yours anyway? And how did you and I meet ever? But in love our hearts are as red earth and pouring rain: mingled beyond parting.” 

Naga Chaitanya’s father, Nagarjuna Akkineni, took to social media to warmly welcome Sobhita into the family. , Nagarjuna explained that the couple picked August 8 for their engagement because it was considered very auspicious. he said that,  “Both families consulted the Nakshatras, and when we were told August 8 was a very auspicious day, we decided to go ahead with it,”
