Shah Rukh Khan rules over Bollywood and its so rightly said. Throughout his career of over 30 years, he has acted in television shows, movies, music videos, and advertisements. In one of the interview, SRK also revealed that his first salary was Rs.50 as a ticket seller. but do you know how much Shah Rukh Khan has charged for his movies over the years? 

From Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa To Pathaan, here’s how much King Khan has charged for his work.

1.Kabhi Haa Kabhi Naa

 Shah Rukh Khan received Rs 5,000 as the signing amount and Rs 25,000 in total for Kundan Shah's film, Kabhi Haa Kabhi Naa. It was ready before Baazigar and Darr but distributors weren't interested because he wasn't a star yet.Shah Rukh bought the Bombay territory himself and helped release it. Kabhi Haa Kabhi Naa was released on February 24, 1994, 30 years ago.

Kabhi Haa Kabhi Naa is a romantic comedy film directed by Kundan Shah, starring Shah Rukh Khan and  Deepak Tijori. The film was remade in Telegu as Swapnalokam (1999), with Jagapathi Babu and Raasi in the cast.

2. Karan Arjun

The iconic duo of Karan-Arjun was played by Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.Rakesh Roshan paid ₹18 lakhs to SRK for Karan Arjun.

Karan Arjun is a 1995 Indian Hindi-language fantasy action film directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan starring Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan ,Mamta Kulkarni and Kajol as leads.It was 6th highest-grossing film of the decade.

3.Ashoka

Ashoka was one of the most challanging film for SRK. The actor was afraid of horses but he put his fear aside and rode one in the film. He also learnt Kalaripayuttu. He cut down his fees and charged ₹35 lakh for the film.

Asoka is a 2001 Indian Hindi-language epic historical film directed and co-written by Santosh Sivan. It is a movie version of emperor Ashoka starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kareen Kapoor Khan.It was originally released as Ashoka: The Great in India.

4. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai 

The iconic movie which remained in the hearts of the people over the years. According to this report, Shah Rukh Khan was the highest-paid actor in the film and he charged ₹1 crore.

5.Jab Tak Hai Jaan

As the amount SRK charged for this is unknown, many reports say that the actor was a partner in the production. As a partner, he is said to have received ₹35 crore as notional fees.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan also simply known as JTHJ, is a 2012 romantic drama film  directed by Yashraj Chopra and written and produced by his son Aditya Chopra under their banner Yash Raj Films.The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.

6.Raees

Shah Rukh Khan played the role of a bootlegger in this film. Reports state that he chose a hybrid model of payment for this film. He charged ₹20 crores as his acting fee and also chose to take home 50% of the profits that the movie made.

Raees  is a 2017 Indian Hindi -language action film directed by Rahul Dholakia. It stars Shah Rukh Khan and Mahira Khan as leads. Raees is said to be based on the criminal Abdul Latif's life, however, the filmmakers have denied this claim.

7.Pathaan

 Pathaan was a blockbuster hit at the box office.SRK didn't charge his regular fees from the producers and instead took a 60 per cent share in the total profit earned by the movie. Therefore, his remuneration from Pathaan came to approximately Rs 200 cr.

Pathaan is a 2023 Indian hindi language action thriller film co-written and directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films. The film casted Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone as the main leads.
