Forbes Top 10 Highest Paid Actors In India; SRK to Rajnikanth

Forbes has released the list of highest paid Indian actors of 2024 and the list doesn't really surprise us with its new additions and some old faces ruling the charts over the years. Along with top Bollywood stars the list also features many South Indian faces; this shift comes with the rise in the popolarity of the South Indian films.

At the topmost spot comes the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan with the whopping net worth of Rs. 6300 Cr. and his estimate charges per film varies from Rs150 crores-250 crores. On second spot Rajnikanth sits with the net worth of Rs. 430 Cr. and approx. Rs150 crores-210 crores fees for a film. The list follows Joseph Vijay & Prabhas with net worth of Rs. 474 Cr. & Rs. 241 Cr. respectively. Vijay's last year releases helped the actor getting a spot in the list which includes Varisu, which earned around Rs300 crore worldwide, and Leo, which grossed over Rs612 crore worldwide. Notably, Leo is also the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2023.

On the other hand, Prabhas's Salaar which earned Rs369.37 crore at domestic level, leaving Rajinikanth’s Jailer behind at its net Rs348.55 crore. Aamir Khan & Salman Khan features at 5th & 6th places with enormous net worth of around Rs. 1862 Cr & Rs. 2900 Cr respectively. Both the Khan's haven't given a blockbuster even though their past movies has worked well on the box office but the reputation these stars owns deserves more. Forbes predicts their approx Fee Charged Per Movie in between, Rs100 crores-175 crores.

Despite having 0 releases in 2023 Kamal Hassan finds himself on the 7th position. His upcoming movie KH 234 with director Mani Ratnam is in talks while he is also playing pivotal role in Kalki 2898- AD. Pushpa fame Allu Arjun is on the 8th place. His sequel titled Pushpa: The Rule- Part 2 is scheduled for 2024; the movie is expected to break box office records set by Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan. While 2023 didn’t see any notable hits from Akshay Kumar, OMG 2, with a guest appearance by him, earned approximately Rs221 crore worldwide. He also had some releases which didn't really worked on the box office even though Akshay Kumar grabs 9th spot in the list. Ajit Kumar with the net worth of around Rs. 196 Cr is on the 10th place. Kumar’s performance in the 2023 release Thunivu was well received by fans. The movie earned a total of Rs130 crores in Indian markets.
