The incident came to light in the Kharkhoda area of Meerut. The victim, identified as Deepak, was found dead under suspicious circumstances. Initially, his death was believed to be the result of a snakebite, a scenario carefully staged by his wife and her alleged lover to conceal their crime. However, inconsistencies in their story and subsequent forensic evidence raised questions, exposing the horrifying truth.

According to police officials, the accused attempted to mislead everyone by staging the murder to look like a natural death. But the inconsistencies in the snakebite marks on the body and medical reports prompted further investigation. Upon interrogation, the wife and her lover confessed to the crime, revealing the chilling details of their plan.

The investigation has revealed that Deepak’s wife was allegedly having an affair with her accomplice. Driven by their relationship and a desire to eliminate Deepak, the duo conspired to murder him. The crime involved a lethal injection to mimic the effects of a snakebite, a detail that was confirmed during the post-mortem examination.
