Sanjiv Goenka and his fiery behaivior towards KL Rahul in the post match scenes on the field is the talk of the town for cricket circles recently. From fans to experts and even legends of the game are coming in support of KL Rahul and taking LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka in remand.

On the other hand, social media is replete with videos of KKR team owner Shah Rukh Khan being gracious in defeat and meeting his team’s players and the opposition amicably. But, I do not think it is a matter of public debate as to what went behind the decision (of handing the captaincy to Smith). Sometimes the decisions are not necessarily the most popular, but that is the way it is," Goenka said in 2017.
Meanwhile, there are reports of KL Rahul to get dismiss as captain for the remaining two matches of Lucknow Supergiants and the captaincy will be handed over to the current vice-captain Nickolas Pooran.
