After their historic victory in the ICC T20 World Cup, the Indian Cricket Team returned to India on July 4th. In Delhi, Rohit Sharma and his team had a candid conversation with PM Narendra Modi, who congratulated and praised the champions for their achievement.

During a conversation with former captain Virat Kohli, the Prime Minister praised his crucial innings and commended him for believing in himself and persevering despite facing challenges during the tournament. To this Virat replied, "Thank you very much for calling us all here and this day will always remain in my mind because in this entire tournament, I couldn't contribute to the team the way I wanted to. At one point, I even told Rahul bhai that I didn't do justice to myself and the team yet. He told me to have faith that I would perform when the situation arises."

"This conversation happened between us, and when we went to play, I told Rohit before hand that I wasn't feeling confident because my tournament hadn't gone well. When I was about to bat, it felt like my batting wouldn't be as I wanted it to be. But when we started playing, I got three boundaries in the first four balls, and I went and said, "What a game this is!" one day it feels like a run won't be made, and one day you go and everything starts happening. "

India's ace bowler Jasprit Bumrah responded to a video of himself being played and said, " When I bowl for India, I find myself bowling in crucial stages of the match, whether it's a new ball or at the death overs. Whenever there's a tough situation, I enjoy bowling in those moments, helping the team gives me great satisfaction. In this tournament, there were many situations where I had to bowl tough overs, and I was able to support the team and achieve success.

When asked about how did they manage the food in West Indies Jasprit also said that, In West Indies, we didn't get idli or parathas; we had to manage with whatever was available. Despite that, we coped well.
