ICC T-20 World Cup 2024 is all set to kickstart from June 2 as the hosting country USA will take on Canada in the first game. The 9th edition of the tournament will co-hosted by West Indies as well; the first senior men's ICC tournament held in the Caribbean since the 2010 edition of the T20 World Cup.

All eyes on these countries:

Hosting country, West Indies will eye on to win record third title in the history of the tournament. Even England will eye on their third title win after winning their last one in 2022 against Pakistan. While India will be anyway in the top teams to be the contender of the winners. On the other hand, one of the dominants in the world cricket currently, Australia can create history if they win the title; Australia can be the first and only country to win ICC Test Championship, ICC ODI World Cup and then T20 WC simultaneously. While, Along with hosts USA, Canada and Uganda will make their ICC T20 World Cup debuts in 2024.

There are four groups of five teams each. Top two in each group qualify to the Super 8 stage, where they are divided into two groups of four. 

Super 8 Group 1: A1, B2, C1, D2
Super 8 Group 2 : A2, B1, C2, D1

Top two in the Super 8 groups play in the semi finals on June 27.

The final takes place at Barbados' Kensington Oval on June 29.

Dates:

Total 55 matches will be played during the whole tournament, starting from June 2 to the finals being played on June 29. India will play their group stage matches on 5th, 9th, 12th & 15th June against Ireland, Pakistan, United States & Canada respectively.

Group B: Australia, England, Scotland, Namibia, Oman

One of the most cricket watching nations in the world, Indians will be able to watch and cheer for their team via Star Sports Network & Disney+Hotstar. Star Sports will broadcast the tournament in four different languages; Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada, while the broadcaster will provide a new concept with their Indian Sign Language Feed, providing a first-of-its-kind audio descriptive commentary for an ICC event.
