Renowned actor Vicky Kaushal, known for his memorable performances, visited Prayagraj on Thursday to take part in the spiritual ritual of bathing at the Triveni Sangam during the Maha Kumbh. Sharing his thoughts on the experience, he expressed how grateful he felt for the opportunity to visit such a revered and sacred destination.
"I'm feeling very good. I was waiting for this opportunity for a long time to be a part of Maha Kumbh. Now that I am here today, I am feeling very good and fortunate," Vicky Kaushal expressed his happiness and gratitude to the media, with his emotions clearly evident.
As Vicky Kaushal prepares for the release of his highly anticipated film Chhaava, which is set to hit theatres on Friday, he has been in the spotlight all week. The historical drama, which promises to be a major hit, features Kaushal in the role of the legendary Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, while Rashmika Mandanna stars as his wife, Maharani Yesubai.
Alongside his visit to Prayagraj, Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna have been on a spiritual tour across India. The pair recently visited several of the country’s most renowned shrines and temples, including the Golden Temple in Amritsar, the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple, and the Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga, one of the 12 sacred Shiva Jyotirlingas near the Ellora Caves in Maharashtra.
The film, directed by Laxman Utekar and starring Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna in the lead roles, will be released on February 14, 2025.
