Finally A Film To Dominate Stree 2; Marathi Sequel Navra Maza Navsacha 2 Wins At Box Office

Its been more than 5 weeks till Stree 2 is dominating the Indian Box office with humongous collections of around 575 Cr nett. Finally the film is getting a competition at the Box office by a Marathi sequel Navra Maza Navsacha 2. The regional comedy film has collcted around 10 Cr nett on its first weekend.

Navra Maza Navsacha 2 is a sequel to a 19 year old film with the same title starring Marathi superstars Sachin Pilgaonkar, Supriya Pilgaonkar & Ashok Saraf. The sequel has quite an anticipation built over its release. It released on the ocassion of National Cinema Day along with Bollywood additions Yudhra & Kahaan Shuru Kahaan Khatam. 

According to the Box Office report, Navra Maza Navsacha 2 collected around Rs. 2 Cr on day 1 (Friday). Collections increased to 2.5 Cr on Saturday with the weekend around the corner while it jumped to 7.84 Cr on Day 3, Sunday. On the other hand, Stree 2 despite leading on Cinema Day saw a deep of 25%. 

Navra Maza Navsacha is trully winning the Box Office game right now as the shows of Hindi films Yudhra & Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam has been reduced to accomodate the Marathi film in Mumbai & all over Maharashtra.

Navra Maza Navsacha 2 stars Sachin Pilgaonkar, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Ashok Saraf along with Swapnil Joshi, Vaibhav Mangle & Hemal Ingle in lead roles. It has ensemble cast of cameos from Siddharth Jadhav, Nirmiti Sawant & Vijay Patkar. Special appearances are Sonu Nigam, Johnny Lever & Shriya Pilgaonkar.
