Box office is brewing again with the number of films releasing in the past few days, with Munjya working well at the Box Office and now Chandu Champion with a decent first weekend with the likes of Kartik Aaryan. The Kabir Khan directed Chandu Champion has grossed nearly 20 Cr nett till Sunday 16th June 2024 which is below par but can be considered ample owing to how Box office is working these days.
The film had a poor start on the first day on Friday earning 4.25 Cr but got covered up by Saturday adding 6.75 Cr in the total collections. The film released a week after Munjya's impressive box office collection. The horror comedy has grossed around 53.50 Cr in total which is a impressive feat for a film working solely on word of mouth.
Till late Sunday, Chandu Champion has collected 9.75 Cr and 20.75 Cr in total. This total will increase with the Government holiday on Monday on the ocassion of the Eid. Chandu Champion has not done well in India but is even worse in overseas as it collects well under $1 million despite a wide release which may possibly be the biggest for a Kartik Aryan starrer.
