Shah Rukh Khan in Line Up For King, Pathaan2 And An Amar Kaushik Film

Bollywood Actor Shah Rukh Khan is in talks with Filmmaker Amar Kaushik for a big adventure film. His aim is to have 3 film lineups before shooting starts for Pathaan 2.

According to sources close to Shah Rukh Khan, he aims to set three films in order. The Sujoy Ghosh-directed King with Siddharth Anand, the Yash Raj Film’s  Spy Universe film, Pathaan 2, a non-action feature film with Stree 2 filmmaker Amar Kaushik. “Shah Rukh Khan has met almost every filmmaker in the last few months and heard the ideas they had for him. But nothing really excited him. Now, Shah Rukh Khan is in talks with the Stree 2 team of Amar Kaushik and Dinesh Vijan,” said the source.

They further added, “Amar and Dinoo have a big-ticket adventure film for SRK and are exploring the possibilities of a collaboration. It would not be a part of the Stree Universe, but mark the beginning of a new one. Two to three meetings have taken place, and Shah Rukh Khan has yet to take a decision on the same. More discussions are expected to take place in the months to come before he takes a call on doing or not doing the film. The Maddock Film aside, SRK is also continuously in touch with Raj and DK for their comic action thriller, as he has connected to the subject and wants to do a film with them, subject to a little rework on the loopholes. Apart from the adventure film and the comic action thriller, he is in talks with some makers from the South for action films, but there’s nothing locked.”

On contract, the shooting for King is set to start in January 2025 and wrap by mid-2025, followed by the shooting for Pathaan between late 2025 and early 2026. Talking about Pathaan 2, the first film was the one to kick start the Spy Universe of YRF. Shah Rukh Khan made a comeback to the big screen with Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki, making history with a collection of Rs 2,500 crores in a single year. Now, he is trying to recreate the same with these next three films.
