Salman Khan's Chulbul Pandey to not make a Cameo in Singham Again

Since the trailer launch of Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, speculations have been made about a special cameo of Salman Khan’s iconic Chulbul Pandey. But this cameo has been cancelled due to recent events. 

According to sources, Salman Khan was to make a special cameo in Singham Again as Chulbul Pandey, an iconic character from his film Dabangg. It would have been his official entry into the Cop Universe by director Rohit Shetty. The cameo was supposedly planned to be filmed last week but was cancelled after the assassination of NCP Leader Baba Siddique.

Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn, in a meeting, discussed the future of the cameo and agreed on cancelling it altogether. They believed that asking Salman Khan to film during the mourning of someone so close to him and his family would be disrespectful.

Singham Again, with its large star cast, is one of the biggest films of the year. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film stars Ajay Devgn alongside Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff. Cameos of Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar have been confirmed by the filmmakers. The film will be released in theatres on 1 November.
