Salman Khan who is known to give consecutive Eid blockbusters is being missed this Eid as both Maidaan & Bade Miyan Chote Miyan disppoints on their Eid box office earnings. Though Salman Khan has made announcement of his 2025 Eid movie release but he was totally missed by his fans this year.
Ajay Devgn's Maidaan had horrible opening day earning 4 cr. the film is very much for a niche audience and doesnt have any entertainment factors but owing to the national holiday & long weekend it was expected to earn more than it grossed till now.

On the other hand, Akshay Kumar & Tiger Shroff starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan grossed 15 crore nett apprx on day one which is a poor collection considering the national holiday. If this number had come on a normal day it would have respectable though even there it would not be enough for the budget. This sort of opening day number on a national holiday leaves the film in limbo. One of the reasons of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan being lacklustre can be put down to the fact that Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff films have generally not done well post pandemic but this is not the case with Ajay Devgn.

Though this Eid is without any Salman Khan releases, last year, Salman Khan’s Eid release ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ didn’t make a mark on the box office like his previous Eid release, but that doesn’t stop his fans from saying, ‘Yeh Dil Maange More’.
