Ajay Devgn's 'Maidaan' Rules on Box Office With Mega Advance Booking

In grand box office clash between Ajay Devgn's 'Maidaan' and 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' starring Akshay Kumar & Tiger Shroff this Eid on 11th April, Maidaan is taking a step ahead with a mega grossing in Advance Booking.

In grand box office clash between Ajay Devgn's 'Maidaan' and 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' starring Akshay Kumar & Tiger Shroff this Eid on 11th April, Maidaan is taking a step ahead with a mega grossing in Advance Booking. The film has already sold out around 10k tickets out of which 9,813 tickets are for 2D screens, and 129 tickets have been sold for IMAX 2D cinema halls, according to NDTV reported.

One of the most anticipated film in recent times, Maidaan is set to release on April 11 with whooping amount in their pockets. The total sold out tickets costs around Rs 20 lakhs through the advance booking. While Ajay Devgn's recent release Shaitaan already ruling box office with collection of Rs 142 Cr., expectations are raising for Maidaan as well. On the other hand 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' is also fighting well in the advance booking system, it has sold out around 9k tickets across 3k shows expected.

Ajay Devgn and Priyamani are busy nowadays in promotions of the film; recenty they were see on Star Sports show during the IPL match. The actor shared image of him playing cricket with former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh on his Social media saying, “At another Maidaan today, but the passion remains the same!”

Maidaan has been collectively backed by Zee Studios, Bayview Projects, and Fresh Lime Films. The film will be clashing at the box office with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. While Maidaan is a sports-drama film, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is an action-thriller.

Both films were set for release on April 10th, but the date was revised due to Eid falling on Thursday, April 11. All screenings for “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” and “Maidaan” will now commence from 6 pm on April 10th. Tickets booked for shows before this time will be refunded, with the Eid holiday on April 11th marking the official release day for both films.
