It is widely known that ever since Shah Rukh Khan’s starrer ‘Jawan’ helmed by hitmaker Atlee Kumar has been released it is creating history at the box office and there’s no one who isn’t cheering in theatres while watching the film. As every other scene is whistle-worthy with overloaded mass, goosebumps-giving action sequences, a powerful storyline and everything in the movie is just outstanding and worth appreciable.
Atlee receives a call from Hollywood due to THIS scene
Talking about one particular scene is when King Khan’s remarkable character Vikram Rathore lights up a cigar with the sparks generated during an action-packed scene and Atlee revealed the scene grabbed severals attention especially the people from the west and they called him to talk about it.
In an interview with a leading entertainment media portal, the filmmaker said, “People who worked on our film were from Hollywood. Action director Spiro Razatos worked with us. So, Spiro and other great directors and technicians from Hollywood were at the same screening of Jawan. And Spiro said I have done action in this film. So, they asked who had done that scene where SRK is engulfed in flames. He said, ‘It was the director’s vision and he executed it.’”
And further added, “So they immediately connected with me and told me, ‘If you want to work in Hollywood, let us know,’ so it isn’t a taste which is very desi. It is something superheroic and it has a very basic rhythm. I thought this idea only works for us but it is working globally.”
Earlier, Atlee even opened up about taking the movie to the Oscars and that he would approach SRK and pitch the idea of Jawan at the Oscars.
Atlee is a director who rose up from the Kollywood industry and made four films before Jawan which all were superhits and now the Shah Rukh Khan starrer film is creating massive history for him by entering into the 1000 crore club at the worldwide box office, that kinda dynamically remarkable filmmaker Atlee is!
