Parineeti Chopra’s Wedding: A Nani's Memory Lives On In THIS Way!

Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra tied the knot with politician Raghav Chadha in a delightful wedding ceremony that took place in the beauty of Udaipur at the Leela Palace and the couple looked dreamy in their ivory-matching marriage attires which unveiled several heartfelt secrets. 

From engraving Raghav's name on the veil to adding several symbols on kaliras won many hearts for the mastermind Pari’s thoughtful and loving gesture for her man. Now, revealing another heartwarming secret is that… as she missed her Nani (grandmother) with whom she was very close and wanted her presence to embrace the wedding, the actress opted for a challa (a traditional keychain) which used to be worn by Nani. Pari celebrating love for Nani in this form is Heart-warming! 

Manish Malhotra, the maestro fashion designer who was the man behind the newlyweds' complete wedding look shared a story of adding Pari's Nani’s challa on her alluring lehenga. Posting images, in the caption he started with, “Some details make all the difference. I distinctly remember discussing the lehenga design with @parineetichopra 💕,who mentioned adding her Nani's challa (traditional keychain) to it! She wanted to pay a heartfelt tribute to her nani, who used to wear the same challa in her saree with the keys, a symbol of being the lady of the house.."

Further reminiscing her childhood time when Nani used to walk the challa’s sound used to give her strength and grace. “For Parineeti, the sound of the challa when her nani walked around the house, was a melody of strength and grace. And that's when I knew we HAD to add that piece of legacy to her lehenga. Of course, we added more elements that were significant to both Raghav and Parineeti like London, music, Khanda Sahib and more.
It was not just an accessory... but a piece of her that Parineeti would have on her special day.,” Manish Malhotra added.
