1. Deepika Padukone  

Married to Ranveer Singh, Deepika carried a red veil that featured the beautiful Hindu Sanskrit Mantra ‘Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava’ embroidered with golden zari on the border of the dupatta, meaning ‘May God and auspicious fortune embrace you forever’. 

2. Parineeti Chopra

Recently, Pari is making headlines for her prepossessing thought of embroidering her partner Raghav Chadha’s name in Hindi as ‘राघव’ on her veil at the back. Not just that the actress bought her creative vision in Kaliras too, which symbolized her love-filled journey with Raghav. Includes the duo’s initials, Om sign in Hindi, a gramophone, an aeroplane, a coffee cup, a handfolded sign, a cupcake, a double-decker bus, etc. 

As per the designer Chandra, he shared how… “Each motif represents a moment of serendipity, a chance encounter when their paths crossed in a cosmic dance.”

3. Priyanka Chopra

Touching heights of creativity, the idea of Priyanka Chopra expressing her love towards hubby Nick Jonas is very fascinating. She engraved eight words on her astounding wedding dress which read, ‘Nicholas Jerry Jonas’ (partner’s full name), ‘1st December 2018’ (wedding date), ‘Madhu and Ashok’ (parents’ names), ‘Om Namah Shivay’ (Hindu mantra), ‘Family’, ‘Hope’, ‘Compassion’ and ‘Love’.

The international star made her Kaliras unique by adding their initials, symbols of Hindu and Christian faiths, the steps of the MET, Mr. Chip Potts's character which was once played by Nick in a Broadway production of Beauty & The Beast, a symbol from Greece where Nick proposed to her to cupid, and an engraved silhouette of both of them.

4. Alia Bhatt 

Alia’s unconditional love towards Ranbir Kapoor was sparkling through her several wedding pieces of jewellery. As there’s a well-known fact about Ranbir having an attachment with an infinity sign and the number 8, the actress Mangalsutra was designed with an infinity sign pendant. The same was engraved into her Kaliras including other symbols that speak about their personality and likes which were clouds, stars, butterflies, and flying birds on her kalires.

5. Patralekhaa

After dating for many years, actors Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa tied the knot in a private ceremony. The Bollywood bride being a Bengali-born girl carried an astonishing customized veil which had a message embroidered with golden zari in Bengali that read ‘Amar poran bhora bhalobasha aami tomaye somorpan korilam’ (I am giving my heart full of love to you).

6. Katrina Kaif

One of the much-loved pairs Katrina and Vicky had a charming wedding amidst the beauty of Rajasthan in the Six Senses Fort Barwara, a luxury heritage wellness retreat near Ranthambore. The gorgeous bride carried two pairs of kaliras one of the pairs was included with the words from the Holy Bible ‘Cleo’ & ‘Elysian’, the Hindu symbol ‘Om’ and with the messenger dove charms. While her custom-made veil was linked to Vicky’s Punjabi traditional roots.
