Check Out: Karan Johar Expresses His Anger On ‘Yodha’ And ‘Merry Christmas’ Theatrical Clash

On 17 July, Tip Films and Matchbox Pictures present ‘Merry Christmas’ released its new posters featuring the lead cast Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi. Adding to that they also revealed the release date which is on 15 December 2023, the same as Karan Johar’s Yodha.

‘Yodha’ is written and directed by Sagar Ambre, produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions along with Amazon Studios and Mentor Disciple Films. Starring Sidharth Malhotra, Disha Patani, Raashi Khanna in the lead and the film is set to release on 15 December 2023.

Observing the concern between Yodha and Merry Christmas clash, the filmmaker-producer has taken to social media to express his anger. 
He wrote, “Clashing on a date without the courtesy of a phone call is hopefully not the way forward for the studios and producers …. If we don’t stand united in these tough and challenging theatrical days then calling us a fraternity is futile."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Karan Johar is making his comeback as a director after seven long years through Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt's starrer movie ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani’ releasing on 21 July 2023.
